2004 Results and Recap

EASTHAMPTON, GALBRAITH FIELD: Approximately 150 people participated in the third annual Run/Walk for Tara to benefit eating disorder programs Thursday morning. Held on the birthday of Tara Sheehan, a Southampton resident and runner who died of anorexia in 2002, walkers and runners enjoyed the cross country 3.1 mile course in sunny, 50 degree weather. State Representative John Scibak welcomed the runners and walkers, telling them that he used to work with young people with eating disorders and continues to support programs that help them overcome their disease.  All money raised by the race goes to the Tara Sheehan Fund to help people suffering from eating disorders.
